Grilled Cheese with Tomato and Pesto



This grilled cheese sandwich is made with French bread, ripe tomatoes, and pesto sauce. The cheese, tomatoes, and sauce are all grilled to perfection. This is a fun new take on an old favorite.

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of French bread
  • 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 ripe tomato, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of pesto sauce
  • Drizzle of olive oil

Instructions:

Warm up the grill or grill pan over medium-low heat

Put a small amount of pesto sauce on one side of each French bread slice

Cover one slice of bread with mozzarella cheese on the side that doesn't have pesto

On top of the cheese, put slices of tomato

Add more mozzarella cheese on top, and then place the second piece of bread on top, pesto side down

Put a little olive oil on top of the sandwich

The sandwich should be cooked on a hot grill for two to three minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese melts

Take it off the grill, wait one minute, and then cut it in half

Enjoy your tasty grilled cheese with tomato and pesto while it's still hot

Apple Frangipane Honey Tart



The honey in this Apple Frangipane Honey Tart is sweet, and the almond and apple flavors are rich. It has a flaky puff pastry crust. It's a delicious dessert that's great for any event, from a casual family get-together to a fancy dinner party.

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 3 medium apples, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 375F 190C

Roll out the puff pastry sheet into a rectangle and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper

In a bowl, mix almond flour, granulated sugar, softened butter, egg, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon to make frangipane

Spread the frangipane evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a border around the edges

Arrange the thinly sliced apples over the frangipane in a decorative pattern

Drizzle honey over the apples

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and the apples are tender

Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly

Dust with powdered sugar before serving

Slice and serve warm or at room temperature

Brown Sugar Hickory Baked Bean Queso-dillas



Enjoy the sweet and savory flavors of hickory baked beans, brown sugar, and melted cheddar cheese in these delicious quesadillas. They make for a satisfying meal or a crowd-pleasing snack!

Ingredients:

  • 1 can 15 oz of hickory baked beans
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced cooked bacon
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions:

In a saucepan, combine the hickory baked beans and brown sugar

Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the beans are heated through and the brown sugar is melted

Remove from heat and set aside

Place one flour tortilla on a clean surface and sprinkle with 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

Spread a quarter of the sweet hickory baked beans mixture over the cheese

Sprinkle 2 tablespoons each of diced red onion, green bell pepper, and cooked bacon over the beans

Top with 1 tablespoon of chopped cilantro and an additional 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

Place another flour tortilla on top and press down gently to seal the quesadilla

Repeat the process with the remaining tortillas and filling ingredients

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat

Carefully place a quesadilla in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the tortilla is golden brown and the cheese is melted

Remove from the skillet and let it cool for a minute before slicing into wedges

Serve your Brown Sugar Hickory Baked Bean Queso-dillas hot, with additional chopped cilantro as garnish if desired

Vegan Chocolate Mousse

Construct a robust and adaptable grilling station to suit your BBQ requirements. This inexpensive do-it-yourself project offers lots of room for storage and preparation.

Ingredients:

  • 2x4 lumber
  • Plywood sheets
  • Cement blocks
  • Grill grates
  • Screws
  • Wood stain or paint

Instructions:

In order to build the grilling station's frame, measure and cut the 2x4 lumber

Screws are used to secure the corners of the frame during assembly

To construct shelves and work surfaces, fasten plywood sheets to the frame

The grilling station's base is made by stacking cement blocks, leaving spaces for storage

To create the cooking surface, place the grill grates on top of the cement blocks

If more screws are required, use them to firmly hold the grates in place

For a finished look and weather protection, stain or paint the wood

Cozy Fall Chicken Stew



A hearty chicken stew with autumn vegetables, perfect for a cozy fall evening. The Instant Pot makes it quick and easy.

Ingredients:

  • 5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cubed
  • 4 cups butternut squash, peeled and diced
  • 2 cups carrots, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

Heat the olive oil in the Instant Pot and set it to "Saut" mode

Salt and pepper the chicken cubes, then add them and cook for three to four minutes

Saut the garlic and onions until they smell good

Add the carrots, celery, and butternut squash and mix them in

Put smoked paprika, thyme, rosemary, and chicken broth in the pot

Put the lid back on the Instant Pot and set it to "Pressure Cook

" Wait 10 minutes

After you're done, let the pressure drop naturally for 5 minutes and then quickly release it

If you need to, change the seasonings and serve hot

Chicken Alfredo Tortellini Soup



A creamy and comforting soup with tender chicken, cheese-filled tortellini, and a rich Alfredo sauce base.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 package 9 ounces cheese tortellini
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil

Instructions:

Add diced onion and minced garlic, cook until softened

Stir in heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese, simmer for another 5 minutes

Super Saucy Chicken over Angel Hair Pasta



With this slow cooker recipe, you can make tender chicken breasts with a tasty marinara sauce. These are then served over light angel hair pasta.

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz angel hair pasta, cooked according to package instructions
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions:

To make the sauce, put chicken broth, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, dried basil and oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper in a slow cooker

Pour the sauce over the chicken breasts before putting them in the slow cooker

Cover and set the heat to low

Cook for four to five hours, or until the chicken is soft and fully cooked

Use two forks to shred the chicken after it's done cooking

Angel hair pasta that has been cooked should be served with the chicken and sauce

Put some grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves on top
